TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

The terms and conditions of sale set out here apply to goods supplied to you (“You or “Your”) by MAC Group US Ltd (“MAC GROUP”), ordered from www.shimodadesigns.com (“the Website”).

By continuing with Your purchase it is deemed that You have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions.

Orders and Pricing

MAC GROUP uses the BigCommerce platform as its online sales system and accepts payment by any of the credit cards shown on the Website at time of purchase as well as Paypal. See Payment Security for more information.

All prices are shown in US currency. Orders are subject to delivery charges unless otherwise stated. Where applicable these charges will be added to Your invoice upon confirmation of Your billing and shipping addresses and payment details, and prior to completing the payment process.

The description and price of goods will be as shown on the Website at the time You place your order. Every effort will be made to ensure that prices shown on the Website are accurate at the time of purchase however all prices and descriptions on the Website are subject to change without prior notice.
If an error or discrepancy is discovered prior to shipping of the goods, MAC Group will inform You as soon as possible to offer the option of either reconfirming the order at the correct price or cancelling the order.

When You order online, a confirmation will be sent to the email address that has been provided by You.

Currently MAC GROUP only accepts orders for delivery to US countries. For orders outside the US, please contact MAC GROUP directly as terms and conditions, shipping prices and delivery times will differ to those stated on the Website by emailing consumerorders@macgroupus.com.

All goods are subject to availability. If on receipt of an order the goods are out of stock, MAC GROUP will contact You as soon as possible. You will be entitled to cancel the order and obtain a full refund to whichever payment method was originally made. Alternatively, MAC GROUP may be able to offer You a suitable alternative, or advise of the estimated date that the goods will be available.
MAC GROUP is under no obligation to accept any order and reserves the right to cancel orders placed on the Website at any time and without prior notice.

Delivery

All delivery times quoted on the Website are estimates based on stock availability, normal processing and delivery times. Where a single order comprises multiple items, MAC Group will attempt to deliver all the items together, however where it may be necessary to deliver items from the same order separately the original single delivery charge will still apply.
Goods ordered will be delivered to the address provided by You when the order was placed, unless arranged otherwise with MAC Group in writing prior to the goods being shipped.

Goods are usually delivered via a courier delivery service and require a signature to be provided upon delivery. If there is no one available at the delivery address to accept delivery of couriered goods, You will be notified of an alternative delivery date or location from where to collect the goods. MAC Group cannot accept responsibility for goods that are returned to the courier’s depot and remain uncollected.

Receipt of a signature for goods delivered to the address provided by You will constitute proof that the order has been delivered to, and received in satisfactory condition, by You.

Once an item is considered delivered as outlined above, responsibility for the item, risk of damage or loss will pass to You.

MAC Group is not liable for any loss or damage suffered by You through any unavoidable delay in delivery of goods. MAC Group is not liable for any damage which occurs to goods after a delivery has been made.

Returns and Refunds


Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if the goods are deemed to be faulty or not as described then You will be entitled to a repair, a replacement or a full refund from MAC GROUP.

In cases of goods that are faulty, damaged or wrongly supplied please contact MAC GROUP as soon as possible at consumerorders@macgroupus.com.

In the event of goods having to be returned due to being faulty or not as described then return shipping costs will be paid by MAC GROUP. If You pay for the return shipping then MAC GROUP will reimburse this cost upon You providing an invoice or receipt from the shipping company. You are advised to use an insured service, as MAC GROUP accepts no responsibility for goods damaged or lost in transit.

The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 apply to transactions via this Website.
You have the right to cancel the transaction provided the goods are returned to MAC GROUP within 14 days of you receiving them. For goods returned within this time MAC GROUP will provide a full refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.

Warranty

Our goods are sold with a manufacturer’s warranty, which is detailed on the Website at the time of purchase and guarantees against defects in materials or workmanship. If the goods are not satisfactory, in accordance with the terms of the warranty, please contact MAC GROUP at consumerorders@macgroupus.com.

Payment Security

Our store is hosted on BigCommerce Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Your data is stored through BigCommerce’s data storage, databases and the general BigCommerce application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
MAC GROUP uses Paypal, ApplePay, AmazonPay and Worldpay as payment gateways to complete your purchase. Your credit card data is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
